요약
Colony Counter는 개인정보를 수집하지 않습니다. 사진 분석은 모두 사용자의 기기 안에서 이루어지며, 사진·결과·기록을 개발자나 다른 서버로 보내지 않습니다. 계정, 광고, 분석 도구, 추적이 없습니다. 단, 안드로이드판은 아래 ‘안드로이드판의 글자 인식’에 적은 진단 정보가 Google에 전송될 수 있습니다.
사진과 카메라
콜로니를 세기 위해 사용자가 직접 찍거나 고른 사진만 엽니다. 사진은 기기 안에서만 분석되고 외부로 전송되지 않습니다. 카메라와 사진 보관함 접근은 사용자가 허용한 경우에만 쓰이며, 기기의 설정 앱에서 언제든 끌 수 있습니다.
기기에 저장되는 정보
결과 기록, 설정, 언어 선택은 이 기기 안에만 저장됩니다. 사용자가 ‘결과 이미지 저장’이나 ‘CSV 저장’을 누르면 그 파일을 사용자가 고른 곳(사진 앱, 파일 앱 등)에 저장하거나 공유합니다. 앱을 지우면 기기에 저장된 기록도 함께 지워집니다.
네트워크 사용
앱은 화면 글꼴을 Google Fonts에서 불러올 수 있습니다. 이때 일반적인 웹 요청 정보(IP 주소 등)가 Google에 전달될 수 있으나, 사진이나 결과는 포함되지 않습니다. 인터넷이 없어도 앱의 모든 기능을 쓸 수 있습니다.
안드로이드판의 글자 인식
안드로이드판은 사진 속 글자 인식에 Google ML Kit를 기기 안에서 사용합니다. ML Kit는 사진이나 인식한 글자를 보내지 않지만, 기능 개선을 위해 기기 모델·운영체제 버전·앱 버전·설치별 식별자·성능 정보 같은 진단 정보를 Google에 보낼 수 있습니다(Google 안내). iPhone판은 Apple Vision을 쓰며 이런 정보를 보내지 않습니다.
어린이
개발자는 어린이를 포함해 누구의 개인정보도 수집하지 않습니다.

Colony Counter Privacy Policy
Summary
Colony Counter does not collect personal data. All photo analysis runs on your device, and photos, results and logs are never sent to the developer or any other server. There are no accounts, ads, analytics or tracking. The one exception is the Android version, which may send the diagnostic information described under “Text recognition on Android” to Google.
Photos and camera
The app opens only the photos you take or choose in order to count colonies. They are analyzed on the device and never uploaded. Camera and photo library access is used only when you allow it, and you can turn it off at any time in the Settings app.
Data stored on your device
Result logs, settings and the language choice are stored only on this device. When you tap “Save result images” or “Save CSV”, the file is saved or shared to the place you choose (Photos, Files, and so on). Deleting the app deletes the logs stored on the device.
Network use
The app may load its display fonts from Google Fonts. Such a request can pass ordinary web request information (such as an IP address) to Google, but never your photos or results. Every feature of the app works without an internet connection.
Text recognition on Android
On Android, the app uses Google ML Kit on your device to read text in photos. ML Kit does not send your photos or the recognized text, but it may send diagnostic information such as device model, OS version, app version, a per-installation identifier and performance data to Google (Google’s disclosure). The iPhone version uses Apple Vision and sends no such information.
Children
The developer collects no one’s personal data, including children’s.
